Club Chatter...
If you’ve been out to the range this year, you’ve seen the vast improvements made to our target system and most recently, the 200-yard berm on the rifle range. There are many other projects that are being discussed ranging from immediate safety needs to long-term enhancements to the overall use of the range. We have also been focusing on other areas, such as the installation of security cameras throughout the range, enhancing book keeping and administrative functions, enhancing communications with the membership, and working towards creating an electronically controlled access at the front gate, just to name a few.
After discussion at this month’s meeting, it was motioned, seconded and approved to suggest a dues increase of $40 bringing the final annual dues payment to $100.
Attached are time lined expenses showing our current dues structure versus the proposed increased dues structure. As you can see, with the extra funds, the timeline shrinks tremendously.
Now it is up to you, the entire membership, to vote yes or no on this recommendation. In closing, please get your vote in asap, come to the monthly meetings and to the Club events, and safely enjoy your range.
